Switching out a multi-projection scheme for a sharper, brighter LED wall - nearly 20 feet long and half as high, Serco North America needed some kick-ass animation to open the annual employee conference they hold every year, along with green-screen composite title cards and some character animation to supplement the presentation.
Using 2D elements pulled from the Serco Corporate design library, Motion Pixel Lab created a 3D world filled with trains, planes, and automobiles, crowds of Serco employees and bustling environments involving the various areas of Serco business. From a layered, multi-tiered, cylindrical urban cityscape, to a rolling, roller-coaster type world, to an elaborate tunnel introducing the speakers for the day, the "Open" was a colossal piece of animation that gave the proper gravitas for the setting and the new display equipment.
Additionally, all of the speakers at the event were captured on green screen and composited into animated title cards to intro each presentation. The video capture, compositing, and animation was handled by Motion Pixel Lab.
And, we must not forget the "The Dot" - a goofball character conjured last minute to whimsically intro a program during the conference. Check it out!
